Objective: With a brand about 10 years old, it was time for an update.
Challenge: The client wanted a brand and a website that conveyed the ultimate in customer service, and set them apart before the guests even stepped through their doors. The site had to be totally unique, and it had to translate well into a mobile site.
Solution: The new brand is modern and sleek. It’s clean and streamlined, but with subtle details that add depth and interest. As for color, it’s sophisticated, with salon-industry-standard black, and a pop of aqua as a cool nod to fashion trends.
The site has all the best practices we knew were important, but we took it to another level with custom coding for horizontal scrolling (and within those horizontal bands, occasional vertical scrolling as well). This creative coding added an unexpected wow factor.
An extensive "About Us" section showcases years of quality editorial work, inspiring not only guests, but existing and potential team members as well. A featured “Our Team” video conveys much more about their culture and standard for excellence than static images alone could convey.
On the "Careers" page, we go into detail about the training process and education path (very appealing to young, millennial applicants). This page dramatically sets them apart from the competition, piquing the interest of the “best-of-the-best” right from the beginning.
Not only are the new brand and site helping attract the best new talent available, they’re visually communicating to guests that they do cutting-edge work with incredible attention to detail.
