Objective: NOLA Fashion Week launched to provide a platform to support the fashion talent in the city. We needed to create a brand that embodied the quirky blend of modern, theatrical and funky styles that, together, are New Orleans.
The founders had a vision of creating the type of fashion events seen in NY, Paris, and Milan, much the way Mexico City and L.A. have done—meaning this was not just another local fashion week. So we wanted to make sure that the brand oozed credibility as much as creativity.
Additionally, because we were working for a non-profit, we needed to make it affordable and sustainable— with basically no budget.
Solution: We provided a very simple design with creative nuances to let the spectacular photography speak for itself.
We also provided a sponsor focus to help them retain and attract sponsorships.
The site theme utilized a content management system that allowed the organization to update the site themselves each season.
