Objective: Mother’s Day gift cards are big for spas. (Usually it’s only big for salons if they have a major spa component with two or more treatment rooms.) Our goal was to increase both gift card sales and average gift card purchases.
Challenge: We needed to break through the overwhelming clutter of traditional flowery mother’s day poems and over-fluffed sentiments to create a still memorable, and emotionally-touching message.
We also wanted to create a value proposition that was more desirable than the average offer – while still being cost effective for the business.

Results: The average increase in gift card sales was 20% - 30%, with some salons and spas reporting doubling their gift card sales.
