What's Next, What's Now in Digital Marketing - iSPA 2012

The past few months I have been avoiding being a road warrior. Earlier in the year I adopted 2 (rescue) pups and I knew that investing my time in training them would deliver a big payoff in the coming years. But when iSPA asked me to speak - I could not pass it up.

iSPA has always had a special place in my heart. Yes, it is one of the best industry conferences around - well organized, quality speakers, and dedicated attendees -  but iSPA is also the first conference I attended after joining the beauty industry 2001.  The conference was held in Palm Springs that year, a few weeks after Sept. 11. The world was raw and scared. In the opening session I saw leaders speak about love, healing and hope - foreign words in the corporate world I had just left. I was filled with gratitude to be a part of this new community. And I still am.

This year's presentation at iSPA , "What's Next?, What's Now!" was inspired by seeing a growing feeling of overwhelm in business owners regarding all the opportunities in the digital world. Everyday there is something new in social media and online marketing. How do you keep up? How do you know what is not to miss? How do you stay innovative? How do you make sure that your time and money are well-spent?  This presentation is intended to cut through the chaos and to help owners focus on the best tools and strategies for the now, plus, what you need to keep an eye on for the future.
